Q: Where did you come up with such a cool product idea?
A: After the release of our Machine Wash Deluxe Image Filters, we spent some time looking for the next big thing in the design world and found smart phone users fell in love with creating vintage photography looks but there didn't seem to be a really powerful Photoshop plug-in that offered the same looks so the seed was planted and Retrographer was born.

We wanted to make the plug-in as versatile as possible and give users really authentic results that didn't seem artificial. We based the design of Retrographer on how a real camera, processing lab and finishing studio work so it felt immediately comfortable to the end user. We again joined forces with our friend and amazingly talented developer Maxim at Alpha Plug-ins and our master of textures Brian Bonislawsky to make our dream a reality!
