Macintosh Installation
Use the following instructions to install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in:
  1. Shut down your graphics host program.

    Note: To install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in, your OS X user account must have administrator privileges. For information on configuring your user account for administrator privileges, talk to your IT person or consult your OS X user manual.

  2. Locate the installation program that you downloaded from the Mister Retro website and double-click to unzip if it did not expand at the time of download.

  3. Double-click the Machine Wash Deluxe Installer icon.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Read the License Agreement.

  6. Click Next.

  7. Click Yes to accept License Agreement.

  8. Choose the Hard Drive you wish to install the software on.

  9. Click Next.

  10. The installer will attempt to locate the Adobe Photoshop plug-ins folder to install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in. Once it finds a suitable location, it will show you the install path and ask you accept that install path. If the installer does not find a suitable location, click No and the installer will continue to search for another installation location. If the installer finds another suitable location to install the plug-in it will again ask you to accept that install path.

    If the installer is unable to determine the correct install path, you will need to click the Change button in the lower right and manually define the install path before you can proceed.

    Once the correct install path is has been located, click Yes to proceed, then click the Next button to begin installing the plug-in.

    * NOTE - If you do not choose the proper folder, the plug-in will not show up in your Filters menu. If you are not sure where to install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in, consult your imaging application user manual.

  11. Once the plug-in has been successfuly installed, a message will be displayed that explains installation was successful. If you receive any other message, please follow the instructions displayed or contact technical support.

  12. Rerun the installer if you wish to install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in into other imaging applications.

  13. Start Adobe Photoshop or compatible imaging application, open the image you'd like to start working with, then in the application menu select Filter > Mister Retro > Machine Wash Deluxe to begin*.

    * The location to access the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in may vary from application to application, consult your imaging application user manual for specific instructions how to access plug-in filters.

  14. You will need to register and activate the plug-in before your first use.

Windows Installation
Use the following instructions to install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in:
  1. Shut down your graphics host program.

    Note: To install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in, your Windows 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7 user account must have administrator privileges. For information on configuring your user account for administrator privileges, talk to your IT person or consult your Windows OS user manual.

  2. Locate and unzip the plug-in installation program that you downloaded from the Mister Retro site.

  3. Double-click installer icon to launch the installer.

  4. Click Next.

  5. Read the License Agreement.

  6. Click Accept.

  7. Click Next. The installer then will attempt to locate the latest Adobe Photoshop plug-ins folder and install the Machine Wash Deluxe plug-in there.

    Click Next to accept this location to install the plug-in OR Click Browse to change the desired plug-in folder location. Once you've located the folder you'd like to install the plug-in, click Next to accept this location and proceed with the installation.

  8. Start Adobe Photoshop, open the image you'd like to start working with, then in the application menu select Filters > Mister Retro > Machine Wash Deluxe to begin*.

  9. You will need to register and activate the plug-in before your first use.
